Performances:

1400 FPM climbing, 40MPH min, 90+ MPH max and 50-80 MPH comfortable cruising, about 2 GPH average gas consumption. Stable at high speed, excellent turbulence handling, easy to fly from short and rough fields. Bigfoot tire kit makes “off road” takeoff-landing smooth even for not very experienced pilots. Can be a very good trainer.

RW50-G13BB Bigfoot DeLuxe.

 

Brand new trike. More than 300 RW-50 trikes has been made, they are used not only fun flying but for crop spraying, pipeline patrolling, military purposes etc. It is a proven working horse, real off-road flying vehicle. This RW-50 kit was modified following Air Trike's request, assembled and tested by Air Trikes. Next step on the way of RW-50 improvement for for North American market. Its "excessive" power is very useful for STOL performances, long fast cruising with full loading. Another point is safety! Regardless it is proven as a very reliable trike engine, it is good to know you have enough power to fly and even climb with 3 cylinders! Very quiet stainless steel muffler. Improved motormount with 8 barry-mount shocks. Light pulleys. Washable K&N filter. There are 2 in-tank fuel pumps which can run separately or together. I recommend using the back-up pump where you need additional safety, the same way as sertified GA airplane pilots do. Ural-Apogee trike

 

This 2-place trike has been assembled this summer from brand new Ural chassis kit and brand new Apogee-16 wing with some original Air Trikes modifications. Main features – very strong but extremely light structure made with streamlined tube triangle, highest quality aircraft materials and design (source - Kamov helicopter factory), safety cables inside main tubes. This trike is the last genertion of Eagle-GEO trikes. Reinforced structure (2.5"x 1/8" main tubes with inside & outside sleeves) + 4 hydro-pneumatic shock absorbers. Large tires on solid aluminum casting rims with precise bearings. Chromoly steel front fork. This chassis is able to sustain very bad landings and rough field runs! The trike is more compact, has higher clearance and looks taller than older Eagle model, but it has exactly the same low height and CG. Brand new. Fully loaded: hydraulic disc brake, gas shocks, foot and hand (cruise) throttle control, full electric package (ignition lock, light battery, alternator and starter), 12.5 gallon tank with fuel pump inside, clear level tube and electrical level sender, soft seats, side bags, trike + engine soft cover and prop blade covers. Instructor steering can be added easy. Very soft and comfortable AEROS seats. 2-point adjustable aviation seatbelt system can be easy conveted in 4-point system if necessary.
The engine is 4-cylinder 4-stroke GEO-Suzuki G13BB engine with Multi Point Fuel Injection and Computer control, converted with new design SPG-3 2.5RR gearbox. About 100 HP. Its "excessive" power is very useful for STOL performances, long fast cruising with full loading. Very safe engine. Even if something happened with one cyinder (spakplug, wire, injection etc), it has enough power reserve to fly and even climb with 3 cylinders with full loading. Original alien-head instrument pod with engine control instruments: water temperature gauge, voltmeter, hourmeter, oil pressure, fuel pressure, tachometer, fuel level gauge with warning light. There is a free space to install additional instruments (GPS, radio etc) if necessary. The structure is powdercoated in red and back for corrosion protection and excellent looking. The trike was tested in flight with different wings. I'm proud to say this is definitely the best Eagle I have ever had. Stable and solid as a rock on the ground, soft and gentle in flight, easy handle and predictable in windy condition and turbulence.

RW-50 G13bb trike

 


This trike was assembled in 2009 and tested with X-155 wing. Used, more precisely well tested trike with low hours. After a small accident (landing in the water) the wing and prop were changed. BRS chute repacked in 2011. Has narrow 10" wheels, disk front brake, instructor steering, tall windshield. Transport Canada registered. I advertise this trike for my client and friend Danny Lareguy. The trike can be sold with new Profi TL as well as with any other wing available from Air Trike Enterprises. Very well flying trike. Small cosmetic repair can be done, as well as some parts changed (for example muffler) to make it looks like new. Eagle-GEO G13BB

One more Eagle trike, now with 100HP full injected Geo-Suzuki G13BB. Brand new. Engine – G13BB 1.3L Multi Port Fuel Injection with computer control system. SPG-2 gearbox conversion system with 2.5 RR. 69” KOOLprop.

The trike is tested in flight with with X-14 and X-155 wings. This is definitely the dest Eagle I have ever flown. Even more, my friend - trike instructor said this trike is flying better than his DTA Voyager with 100HP Rotax 912S! Better takeoff and climbing, the engine runs smoother and with bette throttle response than Rotax 912S. He immediately ordered 2 engines and started to build Eagle using my Eagle plans. Now about flying performances I got. Takeoff run is very short, not more than 100 feet with X-155, max power climbing is fantastic! Some numbers:
Cruise RPM 3800-3900 cruise level speed about 55mph, climbing RPM is about 5600 (not even full power) but climbing rate is around 1500fpm. I couldn't get stall with both wings, the trike was very stable at low speed. Less than 2 gallons per hour gas consumption. Very reliable engine has enough power to fly safely even if one cylinder is out (problems with one injection, spark plug etc). This make the trike safer than with 3-cyl GEO.
Looks like G13BB engine is the best choice for a trike! Low cruise RPM makes this engine even more reliable and fuel efficient. I also expect higher TBO than a standard naturally aspirated G10.

Engine control instruments: water temperature, voltmeter, hourmeter, oil pressure, tachometer, fuel pressure, 4 EGT probes. Fuel level gauge with warning light. Alternator control warning lights + 12v power supply sockets. Navigation instruments – full-size ASI, altimeter, VSI.

This is the best and most popular creation of Air Creation - Buggy 582SL. The structure is capable of absorbing the most violent shocks without damage, equipped with hydro-pneumatic shock absorbers, of an exemplary quality and strength, it is tailor made for travellers and perfect for training centres. The BUGGY is not only a dual seater; it has also been designed with an eye on those who love to fly solo. This means the removable rear seat can be replaced by a sturdy, portable, large capacity luggage bag integrating a rigid back support for optimum comfort.

Developed on the basis of the TWIN 5825L, the BUGGY is powerful and silent, light and robust. it is equipped with a composite pod (similar to the one used on the CLIPPER) and stabilizing finned wheel fairings. BUGGY 582 perform at top levels with payloads of 400 kg. Because of the higher payload, the BUGGY is a natural for instruction. Quick and easy to manoeuvre, it is also a pleasure to fly on cross-country trips. The windshield efficiently protects the pilot from noise an air pressure, reducing fatigue considerably on long trips. Foot and hand (cruise) throttle control, 3-point safety belts. All in all, the BUGGY version makes unique and pleasurable flying experiences more accessible to anyone who would like to fly weight-shift trikes.

The engine is blue head Rotax 582, 3.47 C-gearbox, starts and runs great. Airplast prop with spinner, brand new. Engine control instruments: water temperature gauge, hourmeter, tachometer, double EGT. Navigation instruments: ASI, altimeter, digital VSI (extra), compass, build-in Air Creation intercom.

There are 2 side bags inside the body and one central zipped bag behind the pilot. BRS-900 (time to repack) installed under the engine. Double "smart" strobes (removed but can be installed back if necessary). No one unit or joint is loosen. I think about repowering this trike and installing my favourite G13BB 100HP 4-stroke engine. I see no problem for this structure to accept additional engine+battery weight.

I can sell this trike with X-14 or Apogee brand new wing, as well as without a wing.

The trike has excellent looking (powercoated red and black structure, doube color body), nice radiator scoop and wheel pant fins. 100% authentic, exactly as it is left the factory. Not refurbished or restored - JUST IN EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION! All I did is cleaned the dust and repainted the muffler. It looks really like new. RW50 Tundra-G13BB Deluxe

 

This is a brand new RW50 trike, Very simular to the above trike. The difference - wide Tundra tires, analog 3 1/8" airspeed and altimeter, no instructor steering. This trike is more fit for off-airport tours. Fully loaded: windshield, disc brake, foot and hand (cruise) throttle control, full electric package (ignition lock, light battery, alternator and starter), 4-point safety belts, 12+ gallon tank + large luggage compartment, trike soft cover… This trike is 6-th RW-50 assembled in North America from RW kit improved following Air Trike's request. The radiator is protected by light but solid frame. Redesigned luggage compartment. 2 (main and reserve) electric fuel pumps inside the fuel tank. It was tested with the newest AEROS wing - PROFI TL (kingpostless version) with trimmer mechanism. I have never flown the trike with so light in handling and so high speed range wing! Outstanding flyer. Easy to assemble and disassemble. The wing can be kept folded up on the trike. Very short takeoff run, up to 15000FpM climbing, about 1.5 gal/hour gas consumption at cruise RPM, wide range of airspeed, good stability and comfort in turbulence. Can be sold with other X or Aeros wings, or without the wing. BRS 1050 can be installed. 100% ready-to-fly trike, excellent cross-country flyer (can cruise about 6 hours without refueling). Can be sold with a special trailer. "Air Trikes Enterprises" together with "Red Wings" are working to make RW50 trike SLSA. This trike can be N-numbered for USA market or sold with TC registration.

Finned wheelpants for Tundra tires has been made and installed recently. Now this trike will fly faster, with more yawing stability, and looks even better. I decided to add some pictures with wheelpants + more detailed pictures with comments.

This is not a rock deflector. This inverted V-shaped stabilizer improves yawing stability and pitch stability at high angles of attack. Something like used at military marine airplanes. Tested and effective, provided better controllability, lower stall speed and more predictable stall, better pitch responce at high speed. Additional functions: 1) Safety device for the propeller. Less chances for the trike to tumble back when nobody is inside. 2) If I want to check my front fork, tire, or adjust/change the brake pads - I don't need to lay down. 3) Excellent place for a back strobe.
The wheelpants are installed at 3 M6 bolts each, and can be easy removed for safe trike transportation or wheel inspection.

Classical style dashboard with full-size ALT and ASI - the best you can have for open cockpit aircraft. If you want to add GPS or multifunctional navigator - there is enough space between the dashboard and windsheeld even for the biggest and most advanced EKP-IV PRO. A handheld radio can be installed at the right corner (as shown for the trike above). A transponder (or/and build-in radio) can be installed instead of removable Microtrim VSI. Strong and accurate steps protect the fiberglass fairing. New RW-50 trikes have a big laggage compartment integrated with a fuel tank. To show how big it is, I put a box (24) of beer bottles inside, it takes less than 1/5 of volume. Flying RW-50, you don't have to think where you can put spare gear, sandwiches, water, emergency stuff... There is a quick drain valve at the bottom of the fuel tank.

Eagle-GEO TURBO Deluxe

This 2-place trike has been assembled and tested in July 2006. Brand new. Fully loaded: hydraulic disc brake, foot and hand (cruise) throttle control, full electric package (ignition lock, light battery, alternator and starter), 12.5 gallon tank, soft seats, side bags, trike + engine soft cover…

Engine – G10 Turbo 1L Multi Port Fuel Injection with computer control system. SPG-2 gearbox conversion system with 2.5 RR. 69” KOOLprop. I decided not using all available power so overpitched the prop +4 degrees together with boost decreasing.

Now about flying performances I got. I can feel the difference from the first second of giving full throttle. Some numbers:

Cruise RPM 3300-3400 (boost about 3.5 psi) cruise level speed about 55mph
“Normal” climbing RPM 4300-4500 (boost about 7 psi) about 800FPM
“HOT” climbing RPM 5000-5200 (boost about 10 psi) up to 1500FPM

Looks like this engine is the best 4-stroker regarding power/weight ratio. It is only 6-7lbs heavier than NA G10 and about 20HP more powerful even with moderated boost and RPM. Its extremely low cruise RPM makes this engine even more reliable and fuel efficient. I also expect higher TBO than a standard naturally aspirated G10.

This trike was assembled in 2003 and used only as a display unit. 6061 T6 structure; aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel brackets. Full suspension with 4 chock-absorbers, drum brake, foot and hand throttle control. Fiberglass wheel pants, large saddle bags. Cosmos-style hangblock with safety cable. Rotax-503 engine in like new condition: completely inspected, bored cylinders, new pistons, rings (made by Rotax shop, I have papers if necessary), new Bing carb installed, brand new muffler, breaking in made. Primer installed. Easy start from the first pull and run smoothly like silk! New V-5 belt redrive, new composite ground adjustable 3-blade prop with metal LE protection. EGT, tachomete and hourmeter are istaled. Navigation instruments can be instaled on the compression strut. A big Manta-style dashboard or fibergass fairing are options.

I can release the control bar even in 45-60 degrees bank and it will keep staying the same angle up to the moment I catch my own turbulence! I tried soaring and had a lot of fun with this machine. High gliding ratio X-14+very light structure of the trike=good glider even for me with my 240lbs. The same time it is a strong 2-seater with 560lbs payload . It is assembled fall 2002 from "easy to build" kit with installation of 4-stroke GEO-Metro 1 liter converted engine. Equipped with new 14 sq.m. wing, full set of instruments, headlights, windshield, 3-blade ground adjustable prop, and double direction system for training flights. Upgraded summer 2003 (new wheel fairings with fins). Perfect condition, 22 hours on hourmeter.

Blue Dream Frigate

 

"Blue Dream Frigate" is a twoseater trike with removable passenger seat so it can be used like FAR-103 ultralight or ultralight trainer. It has 19 m. sq. wing with double surface skin. There are two colors - dark and light blue. The solid structure of landing gear with aluminum tube triangles has effective shock-absorber suspension for each of three wheels. Powerplant: Licensed Russian copy of Rotax 640 engine (possible to use Rotax 640 spare parts), very popular for ultralight airplanes, fan cooling, electric and manual starters, 2.4 belt drive, 66"prop, dual throttle control (right foot and left hand), head temp. gauge. Instruments: altimeter, ASI, VSI, compass. There is a place for GPS. Has excellent take-off - landing and stall performances, controllability. Vehicle Condition.

This trike was assembled in Russia from kit in 1998 by professional aircraft engineer and trike instructor; was carried in Canada in 2000 and flying here; in great working condition; about 60 hours on structure and engine; always kept in garage/hangar; has never experienced engine stall.

Flying Instrument pod

Trike, instrument pod, prop were painted (black, yellow, blue) for new owner this year, new shock-absorbers were installed so it looks really like new. Wing skin had a couple of cosmetic rips that were repaired with original fabric by wing manufacturer. Complete and ready-to-fly ultralight. Ask questions if you have them.
