"Simple" photo gallery

I decided to start this "simple gallery" because many people say me that they can't find enough info and pictures about for example autoconverted engines on conventional pusher airplanes, or gyrocopters. I understand, it can be interesting, but I don't install GEO-Subaru engines on planes or gyros. I build trikes. My clients do it, I put some pictures at ENGINE or FEEDBACK pages, but I can't use all pictures from my clients. I often get questions like "is it possible for me to install G10 on a Challenger 2M or not?" Please don't ask me such questions. For me - yes I can, for you - I don't know! I don't know your skills and ablities. Experimental aircraft project is YOUR project! So I decided to make a small "depot" of pictures which can be interesting to potential builders. Maybe you can find some elements of design (motormounts, radiators etc), maybe the fact that somebody made it before will help youbto do something simular. Rescue Evacuation 3-place trike with 100HP GEO-Suzuki engine and some other 3-place trikes


Russian trikers have a lot of work experience. They do agro spraying, pipeline patrol, aero photography, beach flying, take skydivers up etc. There are military special trikes. From the end of 2008 a Rescue Evacuation Vehicle (REV), 3-place trike was officially accepted by Russian Emergency Situation ministry for work at remote areas (in fact most of Russian areas in Siberia are remotes) together with helicopters. The Pilot can fly with Paramedic to Patient, and even come back with Patient if necessary. Before placing the order for a serial REV, Russian officials tested different aircraft engines. The winner became 100HP 4-stroke G13BB with SPG2-3 and KOOLprop. Reliability, high power, low cost, low grade fuel acceptability, fuel efficiency, throttle response, low maintenance, no any adjustment depends on the weather or altitude, stable start and running at low temp - Geo-Suzuki is #1 here. This engine is probably the most popular trike engine there.

Some other samples of 3-place trikes used in Russia and Ukraine. "Commando" usually made with Honda and Suzuki-GEO. 3-place float trikes - in production with Rotax, Suzuki, Subaru, BMW.



Sun and Fun 2004. Great show in Florida!

A lot of Sun, Fun, Flying and Talking. This magnificient fiesta gave me so much energy for all the year. It was also a good business experience. We showed KLASS and Eagle trikes in our boot. It was our first but very successful year. We sold 2 trikes (all we had "for sale"), got some orders and new students for my partners (Tampabay Aerosport trike school). I was getting a lot of Florida Midday Thermal Turbulence kicks (it was Sun)+ vortex turbulence from up to 20 aircraft flying the same small UL pattern (it was Fun).
Show The end
Only the last day of exhibition my wife and I decided to go and look around. It was really impossible to see all exposition for one day. If you want to come next year - try to come for a whole week Unfortunately, even this great event has his end. I am sure I'll be back at Sun and Fun 2005. Meet me there next year!

Some time ago one guy from India bought a set of Eagle trike plans. From this moment they built several Eagle trikes included 3-place trike. They modified my design to use local materials, used X-17 wings and converted Suzuki engines. I like their approach to design and flying. Look at some of the pictures David shared with me!
